February 17, 2022

12:00 PM - 01:30 PM

Join CCI Toronto for Tackling Human Rights Challenges in Condos!

What role does human rights have when living in a condominium complex? As a part of a condominium corporation, there is an obligation to be aware of human rights in a variety of situations. During the pandemic, Toronto condominiums have had a surplus of human rights complaints, everything from amenities to emotional support animals. But how do you handle these complaints, how do you know when to escalate it, or what you can do to prevent these claims in the future?

During this session, Tackling Human Rights Challenges in Condos, you will hear from Babak Ardalan (District Manager, Del Property Management) and Deborah Howden (Partner, Shibley Righton LLP). They will be sharing a few recent cases related to Human Rights and offer best practice options for managing them.
