No one wants to admit it, but fraud does exist and condominiums are not immune. Large reserve fund balances and sometimes loose financial controls can make condominiums an easy target by fraudsters. This is a ‘must-attend’ session for condo board members to learn how to recognize the signs of fraud and more importantly what steps they can take to ensure that their corporation does not become a victim to fraudulent activities. A discussion on what security features are available to a condominium corporation to maximize the avoidance of cheque fraud will also be included.
